The towering Jewish leader of the 20th century, known as “the Lubavitcher Rebbe,” or simply as “the Rebbe.” Born in southern Ukraine, the Rebbe escaped Nazi-occupied Europe, arriving in the U.S. in June 1941. The Rebbe inspired and guided the revival of traditional Judaism after the European devastation, impacting virtually every Jewish community the world over. The Rebbe often emphasized that the performance of just one additional good deed could usher in the era of Mashiach.
Over the course of more than seven decades, the Rebbe corresponded with thousands upon thousands of people from all walks of life on nearly every topic.
These letters—which represent just a sliver of the thousands of correspondences that have been made public—open a unique window into the Rebbe’s wisdom and loving approach to the individuals who sought his counsel, and contain guidance for each and every one of us.
From advanced Talmudic discussions and thorny halachic issues to advice on marriage and relationships, physical and mental health, philosophy and education, business and communal work—the Rebbe illuminated every subject with the timeless truths of Torah and boundless concern for his correspondents, always with an eye for their infinite capacity to positively influence their surroundings. The program is showcasing the most valuble examptions of Rebbe's Lellers concerned every Jewish or non Jewish person on the path to success.
